QuickShot is a Chrome extension that lets you capture screenshots of web pages. This policy explains how the extension handles your data.
Data Collection
QuickShot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no external servers.
Permissions Explained
activeTab / scripting: required to capture the current tab's screenshot. Only used when you click a capture button.
downloads: saves the screenshot PNG to your local Downloads folder.
clipboardWrite: copies the screenshot image to your clipboard so you can paste it directly. Nothing is read from your clipboard.
storage: saves your corner radius preference and last selected area locally on your device only, using Chrome's built-in storage. This data never leaves your machine.
contextMenus: adds QuickShot options to the right-click menu for convenience.
Screenshots
Screenshots are captured entirely on your device. They are saved to your local Downloads folder and/or your clipboard. They are never uploaded to any server.
Third-Party Services
